Hathras rape case live updates: FIR against Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra and 200 Congress workers in Noida

Taking suo motu cognisance of the death of a Dalit woman, who was allegedly gang-raped in Hathras district, the Lucknow bench of the Allahabad high court issued notices to the Uttar Pradesh government on Thursday. Rahul, Priyanka released after brief detention on way to Hathras

Congress leaders Rahul and Priyanka Gandhi were on Thursday briefly detained by the Uttar Pradesh police while on their way to Hathras. Sources said they were taken away in a police jeep and kept in a guest house for sometime after which they were released. The Congress, however tweeted that they were both arrested.
