Hans Raj becomes the first college to hoist the national flag in DU

On the occasion of the 68th Republic Day, Hans Raj became the first college to hoist the national flag in Delhi University. Last year, in August, Naveen Jindal, an alumnus of the college, had announced on the college's Foundation Day that he would hoist the national flag in the college campus.
Along with Naveen Jindal, actor Parvin Dabas, his batchmate, was also present during the R-Day celebrations at the college.While addressing the students in the college's auditorium, Parvin joked, "Aaj kal Shah Rukh Khan Raees promote karne mein busy hain, isliye main college aa gaya."
