New Delhi: The five-day

Hasya Ranga Utsava

Sahitya Kala Parishad

ended on Tuesday with a popular play ‘

Aye Mayavi Sarovar

’ written by Shankar Shesh. The play left the audience in splits while addressing the topic of

gender inequality

and the plight of

women

across

generations

and

social strata

.

The event focused on a variety of issues that required the public's attention in order to effect change in society. Speaking about Hasya Rang Utsava, deputy chief minister Manish Sisodia said the aim was to not only entertain the audience but also spread a positive message and create awareness about topics that need their attention.
