Ghaziabad job office under lens

GHAZIABAD: The district employment office is under the scanner for allegedly violating government rules in the recruitment of government staff, after a complaint was received that an unqualified official was entrusted with conducting the recruitment test, officials said.
According to officials, the regional employment officer (REO) at Meerut has sought an explanation from the Ghaziabad district employment officer (DEO), Arshad Ali, for violating government rules in recruiting staffers for the government offices falling under its jurisdiction by authorising a junior officer – his own senior assistant – to conduct the examination and examine the copies, which he is not entitled to.
