Former staff of pharma firm accused of using forged documents to secure govt tenders
New Delhi: Delhi Police’s crime branch has registered a case on a pharmaceutical company’s complaint alleging that its former employees created a fake sister concern and fraudulently secured govt tenders. The accused allegedly used fabricated company letterheads while submitting papers to the ministry of defence, which were later found to be fake during scrutiny.According to the complainant, one of the suspects was previously employed with the company and had access to highly sensitive information. He, along with another former employee, allegedly misappropriated company funds and was terminated in 2023.The tender was cancelled and the firm was blacklisted.
