Firing outside Guru Randhawa's gym in Delhi; Lawrence Bishnoi gang claims Salman Khan connection behind attack
NEW DELHI: A chilling social media post has surfaced online in which a purported member of the notorious Lawrence Bishnoi syndicate has claimed responsibility for a firing incident outside a fitness center in Delhi, explicitly citing the target's association with Bollywood actor Salman Khan as the motive.
The post, uploaded under the profile name 'Anil Pandit', states that the shooting at the '24 HS Fitness' gym—associated with popular singer Guru Randhawa—was jointly orchestrated by 'Anil Pandit USA' and the Lawrence Bishnoi Group.
Police said, on Thursday morning, a PCR call was received at Paschim Vihar East police station regarding a firing incident at "24 Hs fitness" Gym, Pushkar Enclave, Paschim Vihar, Delhi.
On initial verification it has been confirmed that a few rounds were fired at the Gym glass by two unknown bike born persons, who had covered their faces with cloth. no one has sustained any kind of injury in the incident.
Local and district police have taken swift action and appropriate legal action is being initiated. Multiple teams have been formed to identify, track and apprehend the accused persons at the earliest.
According to the viral post, the establishment was targeted because the individual involved was allegedly getting "too close" to Bollywood actor Salman Khan, who has been a long-standing target of the Bishnoi gang.
"We had warned him before to stay away, explaining that [Salman Khan] is our enemy. However, he did not understand. Whichever of our enemies are hiding in any corner, they will be met very soon (wait and watch)."
The post also features a warning aimed at "traitors who conspire against the country," threatening that they will be hunted down and killed regardless of where they hide globally.
The bottom of the post explicitly signs off with a roll call of several high-profile gangsters and allied crime syndicates operating across India and abroad, including:
Delhi Police and cyber crime units are currently verifying the authenticity of the social media post to trace its digital footprint. Security agencies have been put on high alert, as the Lawrence Bishnoi network continues to leverage digital platforms from foreign bases—such as the United States and Canada—to claim responsibility for extortion-related threats and shootings across the national capital region. Further investigation into the firing incident is actively underway.
