NEW DELHI: AAP has demanded expulsion of culture minister Mahesh Sharma for his comments on the Dadri case.
"Killing a man on rumours of eating beef is a heinous act and an attempt to shatter unity. We strongly condemn this act," said Ashutosh, AAP Delhi convenor.
Reacting to Sharma's statement that the incident should not be given a political colour since it was due to a misunderstanding, AAP's Dilip Pandey said: "It is an irresponsible statement.
How can the government say what we eat and wear? If he does not resign, the PM should sack him."
Ashutosh said that according to him, some BJP members asking for the release of the people held for lynching the man, and those trying to justify the incident, were possibly behind the attack.
