Fire breaks out at School of Planning and Architecture near Delhi's ITO
NEW DELHI: A fire broke out at the School of Planning and Architecture (SPA) near ITO in Delhi on Monday, prompting a major emergency response.
According to officials, information about the fire was received in the morning, following which firefighting teams and police personnel were rushed to the spot.
Eight fire tenders, along with three ambulances, two PCR vans, traffic police personnel and local police staff, were deployed for the operation.
The blaze was successfully brought under control and extinguished. No casualties or injuries were reported in the incident.
Officials said the exact cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained. The situation is now under control and no active fire remains in the building.
