More than three hours of firefighting efforts, the blaze continued to rage.

"This is a chemical factory, and the presence of combustible materials within the building acted as a catalyst, facilitating the rapid spread of the fire," fire officer said.

Video footage showed thick smoke coming from the factory as firefighters worked to put out the flames. Atul Garg, the director of the fire department, confirmed that the firefighting efforts are ongoing and that there have been no injuries so far.
