NEW DELHI: The Delhi police took R K Sharma, prime accused in the Shivani Bhatnagar murder case, to a government hospital for a check-up, after he complained of breathlessness on Tuesday morning.
He had made a similar complaint on Monday evening.
Medical tests were conducted but no abnormalities were found.
Sharma was allowed to meet his family for 10 minutes on Tuesday evening.
His wife and two daughters went to see him at 7 pm.
Pragati Sharma said: ‘‘There were two constables present during the meeting. My father informed us about the medical check-up and said he was feeling fine.’’
Family members have been allowed to meet Sharma for 10 minutes every day. The court, however, specified that the meeting should not hamper investigations.
‘‘The investigating officer is directed to allow all the applicants or any one of the applicants to meet the accused for 10 minutes once a day till the end of the period in police custody,’’ said Sharma’s advocate Mohit Mathur.
