Eight arrested for cybercrimes
New Delhi: In an operation conducted by Dwarka Police's Cyber Cell, eight people from Rajasthan and Gujarat have been arrested for their alleged involvement in an array of cybercrimes.
A sum of around Rs 2.5 crore, allegedly the proceeds of crime, has been found in the accounts of the suspects. The accused were found involved in various nefarious activities, encompassing online stock market investment scams, fraudulent online part-time job schemes, and deceptive room booking scams.
The eight taken into custody are Sunil (24) from Jaipur, Pushpendra Kumar (21) from Alwar, Pawan Saini (28) from Jaipur, Maharaj Singh (26) from Bharatpur, Solanki Kiran Bhai (36) from Vadodara, Mandeep Kaswan (22) from Churu, Vikas Kumar (36) from Churu, and Lalu Prasad (36) from Churu.

The suspects used a multitude of tactics to deceive their unsuspecting victims, including enticing them with online stock market investment scams that promised exorbitant returns, luring them with fraudulent online part-time job opportunities, and ensnaring them with bogus room booking scams at Patanjali Wellness Center.
