Family members of the former chief minister have also been called for questioning, with their statements to be recorded under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA).

Sources indicate that neither Prasad nor his family members are expected to appear before the agency.

The ED had previously filed a chargesheet in this case against Lalu Prasad's family members before a Delhi court last year. The chargesheet named his wife Rabri Devi and their daughters Misa Bharti and Hema Yadav as accused, along with others.
