NEW DELHI: The Dwarka court complex in Delhi was evacuated on Wednesday morning after authorities received a bomb threat via email, prompting a thorough search operation by security agencies.
Police said a PCR call was received around 10.45am reporting that the court had received a bomb threat email.
The email had arrived around 9 pm on Tuesday, but court officials informed police only the next morning.
“Dog and bomb detection squads have been rushed to the spot and we are conducting a thorough checking. As of now, nothing suspicious has been found,” a senior officer said.
An investigation has been launched into the source of the threat, officials added.
