The police said the incident took place on Monday when Jain along with her family went to CDB ground in Karkardooma to attend a Ramlila fair.

The woman in her complaint alleged that as soon as the ride started their seat broke, leading to the accident.

"Despite the seat of the swing being broken and us raising an alarm, the ride was not stopped," Jain said in her complaint.

No safety measures were provided and there was no facility to stop it in emergency circumstances, she further alleged.
