NEW DELHI: Authorities at the IGI airport went into a tizzy after a Delhi-Toronto Air Canada flight received a bomb threat on Tuesday night, news agency ANI reported.
Following standard security protocols, a thorough inspection was conducted. However, nothing suspicious was found on the aircraft, ANI quoted police as saying.
"On June 4 at 10.50pm, an email was received at Delhi International Airport Limited office with the threat of a bomb inside Air Canada flight which was scheduled to depart to Toronto. Following standard security protocols, a thorough inspection was conducted and nothing suspicious was found. Legal action is under process, the Delhi Police said.
