Delhi recorded a maximum temperature of 26.7 degrees Celsius on Sunday, which was 1.2 degrees above the seasonal average. The capital enjoyed a mostly clear sky throughout the day, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD) office.
The minimum temperature for the day was 10.3 degrees Celsius, with humidity levels fluctuating between 96 per cent and 44 per cent, PTI reported.
By 6 pm, the air quality was classified as "moderate," with an Air Quality Index (AQI) reading of 143, as per the Central Pollution Control Board.
For reference, an AQI between 0-50 is considered "good," 51-100 "satisfactory," 101-200 "moderate," 201-300 "poor," 301-400 "very poor," and 401-500 "severe." The meteorological department has forecasted mist for Monday, with the maximum and minimum temperatures expected to be around 27 degree Celsius and 11 degree Celsius, respectively.
