NEW DELHI: Panic prevailed in Delhi's Greater Kailash area on Friday after a school received a threat email claiming that a bomb had been planted on its premises.


The Delhi Police immediately launched a probe into the matter, deploying personnel to secure the school and conduct a thorough search.

The email, which was received by the Summer Fields School authorities, stated that a bomb was planted within the school premises on Thursday.

Upon receiving the threat, the school authorities promptly alerted the Delhi Police, who launched a search of the entire school premises.

Despite extensive searches and investigations, no explosive device or suspicious item was found within the school premises.

Principal of the Summer Fields School, Shalini Agarwal said that as per the standard operating procedure, the management evacuated the students within 10 minutes of receiving the email.
