As the counting progresses for the Delhi Assembly Elections 2025, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has shown strong lead in over 48 assembly constituencies, according to the latest updates from the Election Commission of India. Meanwhile, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) holds an edge in 22 constituencies, reflecting a competitive race between the two dominant parties. The BJP winner list is eagerly awaited as the party continues to gain momentum in key constituencies.
Among the notable BJP candidates, Kapil Mishra is leading in the Karawal Nagar constituency with a margin of 3,109 votes. In Tri Nagar, Tilak Ram Gupta has established a lead over his closest competitor. Other BJP leaders making significant gains include Sanjay Goel in Shahdara, Chandan Chaudhary in Sangam Vihar, Bajrang Shukla in Kirari, and Kartar Singh Tanwar in Chhatarpur, each holding promising leads as the counting continues.
On the other hand, AAP candidates like Gopal Rai in Babarpur, Durgesh Pathak in Rajinder Nagar, Anjana Parcha in Trilokpuri, and Veer Singh Dhingan in Seemapuri are ahead in their respective constituencies, maintaining the party’s foothold in these regions.
The elections saw voters cast their ballots for all 70 assembly seats in a single phase on February 5. With the current Delhi Legislative Assembly’s term ending on February 23, the winning party will have a little over two weeks to form the new government. This election has highlighted a fierce triangular contest between the BJP, AAP, and Congress, each striving to influence the future governance of the national capital.
