NEW DELHI: Congress candidate Alka Lamba filed her nomination papers on Tuesday from Kalkaji constituency for the upcoming Delhi assembly elections.
Alka is set for a triangular contest in Kalkaji, facing Delhi CM and AAP candidate Atishi, and BJP's Ramesh Bidhuri.
Alka Lamba, the All India Mahila Congress president, had previously won the Chandni Chowk seat in 2015 as an Aam Aadmi Party candidate before joining Congress in September 2019.
The Delhi assembly elections will be held in a single phase on February 5, with vote counting scheduled for February 8.
Nominations for the Delhi polls can be filed until January 17. Nomination scrutiny will take place on January 18, and the last date for withdrawal of candidatures is January 20.
