NEW DELHI: A couple was found dead on railway tracks near southwest Delhi’s Palam on Thursday. Initial probe suggest it may be a case of suicide.
According to police, a note was recovered from the spot in which the couple allegedly cited a monetary dispute.
Police received information about the incident on Thursday morning, following which a team was rushed to the location.
“Initial investigation indicates that the man and his wife may have jumped in front of a moving train.
However, the exact sequence of events will be confirmed after further inquiry,” a source said.
The bodies were sent for postmortem examination to ascertain the exact cause of death.
