NEW DELHI: Delhi CM Atishi inspected the EV 'Mohalla buses' at the Kushak Nallah bus depot on Tuesday. The initiative, aimed at enhancing last-mile connectivity, was launched under the leadership of Arvind Kejriwal.
Atishi explained, "Today, we are at an electric bus depot to inspect the unique Mohalla buses. These 9-meter-long, low-floor buses are the first consignment of 150 buses that are now ready. Their trials have been successfully completed on two routes, and today we are inspecting the charging facilities."
She further added, "These buses will be operational in the coming two weeks and will ply in congested areas, providing better connectivity. This initiative has been introduced under the leadership of Arvind Kejriwal to improve last-mile connectivity."
