Under 'Mukhyamantri Mahila Samman Yojana' scheme, women aged above 18 will receive Rs 1,000 monthly from the fiscal year 2024-25.

Delhi government allocated Rs 8,685 crore for the health sector. Finance minister Atishi, emphasized the transformation of the city's healthcare system under the Arvind Kejriwal administration, moving from 'majboori se majbooti' (helplessness to strength) and 'nirasha se vishwas' (despair to faith) over the last nine years.

Delhi Metro

Delhi government earmarked Rs 500 crore for the Delhi Metro. Finance minister Atishi highlighted the service's increasing popularity, with over 60 lakh daily commuters, compared to 24 lakh in 2014.

Public transportation

Atishi presented the 2024-25 Budget with a total outlay of Rs 76,000 crore, emphasizing that it is the government's responsibility to ensure quality public transportation for all Delhi residents.

Budget Outlay

A budget outlay of Rs 6,216 crore was presented for various schemes under the Social Welfare Department, Women and Child Development Department, and SC/ST/OBC Welfare Department. Some key components include around 9.03 lakh beneficiaries receiving pensions ranging from Rs 2,000 to Rs 2,500 per month.
