Delhi air pollution: Civic groups write to PM Narendra Modi

NEW DELHI: Prominent civic groups on Sunday urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to come forward to urgently resolve the pollution situation.

The environmentalists said that instead of fixing the problem, the political parties remain intent on fixing the blame while people continue to suffer. A joint letter asked for enforcement of existing laws that will prevent any kind of open burning.


The civic groups included United Residents Joint Action, My Right To Breathe, Care for Air and Clean Air Collective.
