NEW DELHI: A fire broke out in Wazirpur Industrial Area early Monday following a cylinder blast inside a house, leaving a woman injured and damaging four nearby jhuggis, officials said.
The Delhi Fire Service received a call about the incident at 7.54am. One fire engine was rushed to the spot, and the blaze was brought under control by 8.40am.
"One woman sustained injuries in the incident and was given immediate medical aid," a fire official said, adding that the extent of her injuries is yet to be determined.
