CVC may inspect Games venues

NEW DELHI: Faced with problems of non-cooperation and lackadaisical approach from some of the departments, the Central Vigilance Commission may inspect Commonwealth Games venues and the OC office to gather papers and possible evidence.
Officials said the commission has formed a team of technical examiners who would soon visit stadia, Games Village and several other places associated with the Games.
"It is going to be random visits. We have written to the concerned departments in want of their replies on the objections. Most of the departments have still not reverted with proper answers,” said an official. pti
