The remaining accused are Saddam, 26, and Sai Hasan, 22. The two victims were Anand Bhardwaj and Anuj.
Police said the two groups had a fight on Wednesday during which Bhardwaj and Anuj started thrashing the accused with sticks and rods when Saddam took out a pistol. On seeing the weapon, both Bhardwaj and Anuj tried to flee the spot but Saddam caught Anuj while Ali caught Bhardwaj and both of them were shot at. The assailants then fled the spot. The injured, Bhardwaj and Anuj, were shifted to a hospital in Jahangirpuri where both of them died.
DCP (North) Anto Alphonse said a case of murder was registered and the accused were put on technical surveillance. Within two hours, Kumar and Ali were arrested from West Kamal Vihar. One country-made pistol was recovered from them, he added. "During interrogation, the arrested men disclosed that Kumar was a property dealer and Saddam, Ali and Hassan were his associates. Bhardwaj and Anuj are associates of another property dealer, Mukesh, who also works in the same area. While Kumar is involved in 23 previous criminal cases, Mukesh was also recently released from jail. Both groups have had enmity with each other for long," the DCP said.
In a separate incident, a 37-year-old man was shot during a wedding in east Delhi's GTB Enclave over monetary dispute on Wednesday night. Police are yet to arrest the accused. The deceased was identified as Mohammad Sajid who worked at Ghazipur mandi and lived with his family in northeast Delhi's Sundar Nagri.
