Several flights had to be rerouted from Delhi airport on Wednesday morning as visibility dropped significantly, according to an official. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) reported that thick fog started to develop at approximately 5.30am. The city experienced poor visibility conditions throughout.

The arrest comes days after a Bengaluru-based couple were picked up for growing weeds at home. A Facebook post, in which the Bengaluru woman showcased her home garden, led to the police action on them.
