Weather Breaking News Live Updates: IMD's 'orange alert' for Delhi-NCR, dense fog disrupts flight and train ops

Delhi’s weather turned cooler on Sunday with a minimum temperature of 9°C, accompanied by cloudy skies. The air quality also showed signs of improvement, with the AQI dropping to 278 from Saturday’s 327, following light rainfall earlier in the week.

This led the CAQM to revoke Stage-III restrictions under the GRAP after just three days, though Stage-I and II restrictions remain in place to curb pollution. The IMD has issued a yellow alert warning of dense fog from Monday to Wednesday, while forecasting another Western Disturbance around January 14-15, which may further influence Delhi’s air quality and weather patterns.
