The tribunal observed, "Aged citizens has right to live in peace in the property earned by themselves in their life time without any trouble or tension from their children.''
In their petition, 86-year-old Dhani Baveja and his wife, claimed that their elder daughter, Kiran Chaudhary, and her family have refused to vacate their house despite repeated requests. The couple alleged that their daughter and her family have been mentally and physically harassing them.

In response to Bevajas' petition, Kiran's husband submitted that they have been paying Rs 15,000 per month to Baveja. Reacting to the allegation of physical and mental harassment, Kiran's husband alleged that his wife and in-laws are suffering from a bipolar disorder a psychological disorder.
Ruling in favour of the senior citizen couple, the tribunal asked Chaudharys to "immediately vacate the house'' and asked SHO (Saket) to submit compliance report within a week to the tribunal.
