Chacha Nehru Hospital in Delhi's Shahdara receives bomb threat email, probe on

New Delhi: The Chacha Nehru Hospital in Delhi's Shahdara received a bomb-threat email on Tuesday morning, police said.In response to the threat, a swift action was taken by the Bomb Detection Team, Bomb Disposal Squad, Delhi Fire Service, and local police, who rushed to the children's hospital to assess the situation. The hospital premises were immediately evacuated to ensure the safety of patients, staff, and visitors.The threatening email was received by a hospital employee at around 10am, who promptly alerted the authorities.Currently, a thorough search operation is being conducted by the teams. However, nothing has been recovered so far, they said.(With inputs from PTI)
