Businessman’s House Burgled in West Delhi

New Delhi: A 28-year-old businessman’s house in west Delhi’s Hari Nagar was burgled on Tuesday, with gold jewellery worth over Rs 60 lakh, cash, and silver articles stolen while the family was away.The complainant, Rishabh Khanna, a property and construction businessman, told police that he and his family had stepped out for a while. When they returned in the evening, they found the main gate lock broken and the house ransacked.Police said a case has been registered and an investigation is underway.CCTV footage from the area revealed that an unidentified man arrived on a scooty fitted with a fake number plate. Wearing a mask and gloves, the suspect entered the house and carried out the theft After the burglary, he allegedly handed over the stolen bag to an associate near a hotel in the area and fled in different directions.Multiple police teams have been formed to track down the suspects and recover the stolen property.
