Boy dies by suicide during video call

New Delhi: An 18-year-old boy died by suicide while on a video call with a female friend in northwest Delhi’s Azadpuri in the early hours of Sunday.

The boy worked in a factory and is survived by his mother and sister.

According to police, a PCR call went to Adarsh Nagar police station. The cops rushed the boy to a nearby hospital, where doctors declared him dead.

The mother of the boy told reporters, “He was on a video call when I thought he was asleep and went to the terrace and slept. I woke up to calls from the girl, who asked me to rush to his room.”
