NEW DELHI: Aam Aadmi Party minister Atishi on Wednesday accused the BJP of hatching a conspiracy to stop Yamuna water supply to Delhi in its bid to "target" the ruling party in Delhi.


Addressing a press conference, Atishi said: "Ahead of the voting on May 25 in Delhi, the BJP has hatched a new conspiracy to target AAP and disturb the people of Delhi. Under this conspiracy, through its Haryana government, the BJP has stopped the water flow to Delhi. This has been done to create a water crisis here."



Atishi's fresh allegations against the BJP come amidst the ongoing investigation into the alleged assault on AAP's Rajya Sabha MP Swati Maliwal who has has accused Bibhav Kumar, former personal secretary to party chief Arvind Kejriwal, of assaulting her at the CM's residence.
