Bennett University starts Ivy League BBA-LLB course

NEW DELHI: Bennett University (BU) has entered into an agreement with Cornell Law School, USA to facilitate collaborative efforts in delivery of

Meanwhile, professor VC Vivekanandan, director of NALSAR Proximate Education, MHRD IP chair and head of NC Banerjee Centre for IP Studies, joined BU as the founder dean of School of Law on Thursday. He has more than two decades of teaching and research experience in legal education and holds a PhD in IPR and master's degrees in the field of corporate law and public administration. He started U Bengaluru and was also his teaching career with NLSIU Bengaluru and was also dean of Rajiv Gandhi School of IP Law at IIT Kharagpur.

BU's five-year BBA-LLB (Hons) programme will provide students an international interface owing to global tie-ups with prestigious universities around the world.

The BBA programme is being offered in association with Johnson Cornell, USA and LLB programme is being offered in association with Cornell Law School, USA. Under this collaboration, the curriculum has been designed by Johnson Cornell and Cornell Law School.

Students will get to visit Cornell University for one week immersion programme. They will get to learn from the faculty at Johnson Cornell, Cornell Law School and the best of national and international universities of management and law. Students will also get to create start-up ideas at Bennett Hatchery formed in collaboration with Babson Global, USA and Times Group Connect along with industry exposure.
