NEW DELHI: The CBI director P C Sharma, on Thursday, asked the team probing the DDA scam to ensure that the witnesses called for interrogation are handled politely and not harassed.
Sharma also requested the DDA to appoint a nodal officer whom CBI officials can contact for taking documents during their investigation. ‘‘For the sake of investigation, summoning of files and witnesses is necessary, but we should keep in mind that DDA is doing a great service to the residents of Delhi,’’ he said.
