BBC documentary on PM Modi: Both JNUSU, ABVP file complaints in Delhi

NEW DELHI: Delhi Police has received separate complaints from JNU students' union and ABVP over a scuffle during a screening of the BBC documentary on PM Modi. DCP (South-West) Manoj C said they are conducting inquiries into the matter. "Both complainants have alleged stone-pelting by the other side," he added.A police source said two PCR vehicles, the DCP, ACP, SHO and other cops were stationed outside the JNU gate till 1am Tuesday after receiving information about stone-pelting inside the campus.Another officer said police might write to the JNU administration to allow them to enter the campus. Cops said they will ask students to share videos of the incident.The alleged stone-pelting took place on Tuesday. Just before the documentary was to be shown, electricity was snapped across the campus. JNUSU, however, shared QR codes and played the documentary outside the union office. The students alleged that bricks were thrown in their direction.
