Atma Ram Gupta-murder accused held

NEW DELHI: Delhi Police has arrested one more accused in connection with the murder of city Congress Corporator Atma Ram Gupta.
Nirvikar, alias Doctor, had along with one Pushpendra, allegedly shot dead Gupta on August 24 in Ghaziabad. He was arrested in Aligarh on Tuesday, police sources said on Wednesday.
He will be produced in a court later on Wednesday.
Police have already arrested Delhi Congress Corporator Sharda Jain, who allegedly masterminded Gupta''s killing, her brother Raj Kumar and Pushpendra.
Sharda allegedly had an affair with Gupta and had executed the murder by paying Rs 60,000 to a contract killer Roshan Singh. She was said to be jealous of Gupta''s growing closeness to another corporator Memwati Barwala.
