'Arrest us all': Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal to lead march to BJP HQ
New Delhi: Chief minister Arvind Kejriwal announced on Saturday that he and Aam Aadmi Party's senior functionaries would march to BJP's headquarters on Sunday from where the PM could arrest anyone he wanted because it was clear central govt was targeting all AAP frontliners and imprisoning them.
Soon after the arrest of his personal assistant, Bibhav Kumar, allegedly for assaulting Rajya Sabha MP Swati Maliwal, Kejriwal said at a press conference, "You can see how BJP is after the Aam Aadmi Party. They are putting our functionaries in jail one after the other. They put me, Manish Sisodia, Satyendar Jain, Sanjay Singh in jail. Today my PA was arrested. They are also saying they will jail Raghav Chadha, who has just returned from London. There is talk that in a few days, Saurabh Bharadwaj and Atishi will also be imprisoned," alleged Kejriwal, who has been granted interim bail till June 1.
Kejriwal asked the PM to arrest all top AAP functionaries on Sunday instead of picking them up one by one. "I want to tell PM - you are playing this 'jail ka khel' by putting one person after the other in jail. You imprisoned Manish Sisodia, then Sanjay Singh, then Arvind Kejriwal. Tomorrow at noon, I am coming to BJP headquarters with all my senior functionaries, MLAs and MPs. Whoever you want to put in jail, do that at one go," said Kejriwal.
The AAP national convener, however, added that the party wouldn't be crushed by the imprisonment of its functionaries. "You can try by putting AAP functionaries in jail and you will see AAP will not be crushed," Kejriwal said.
Our only fault is that we built mohalla clinics, govt hospitals and arranged free medicines for Delhi's people, CM said. "Our fault is that we arranged good education for the capital's poor children, turned govt schools excellent. BJP is unable to do this and that is why they want to stop the functioning of Delhi hospitals, mohalla clinics and medical treatment," Kejriwal said. "Our fault is that there used to be 10 hours of power cuts daily in Delhi but we ensured electricity is available 24 hours. Our fault is that we made electricity free for the people of Delhi. They want to stop this free electricity supply to the people as they themselves are unable to provide free electricity. These are our faults."
He said AAP was an idea that had reached the hearts of the country's people. "This country will produce 100 times more workers than the number of AAP functionaries you put in jail," the CM declared.

There is a limit to juggling and creating falsehood. Kejriwal has even outclassed all crimimals in making false narrations.. Thank God he could manage temporary bail with help from his lawyer. His subsequent manipulation to seek one week extention on imsginary health grounds was turned down by the Supreme Court and hopefully will be rejected by the lower courts today so that he could move again to place to which he rightly now deserves.Read allPost comment
