NEW DELHI: The interrogation of
Amarjeet Singh, the sub-inspector who allegedly gunned down his senior officer Kailash Chand Yadav, has revealed that Singh was allegedly angry at Yadav for pulling him up for being careless while dealing with a sensitive case for which he was the investigating officer.
“Our interrogation has revealed that Singh was supposed to appear at the High Court for a matter, but he did not go and Yadav had to go instead.
Later, Yadav pulled up Singh in front of other officers and then called Singh’s father who is a subedar major in Bhatinda to complain,” said a senior police officer.
