An intimate shaadi for former Miss India Earth Hasleen Kaur

Model and former Miss India Earth Hasleen Kaur tied the knot with her Delhi-based beau Amber Rana in a traditional Sikh ceremony on Sunday. The wedding celebrations officially began on Friday with a mehendi and cocktail function in which the bride-to-be wore a white chikankari lehenga. Hasleen got her mehendi done a day before so that she could dance and have fun with her school and college friends. Some of Hasleen’s friends from the modelling industry were also a part of the celebrations. Sanea Sheikh came from Mumbai to attend her best friend’s wedding.

, a model who has been friends with Hasleen for seven years, said, “We know each other since the time she participated in the Miss India pageant in 2011. We contested together and became good friends. Later, we worked together as models in many shows.” Hasleen said, “I will keep travelling between the two cities. Delhi, like always, will remain home, but will have to travel to Mumbai for work.”
