However, areas like Mundka and Anand Vihar continued to register 'very poor' AQI levels. The AQI scale classifies scores from 0 to 50 as 'good', 51 to 100 as 'satisfactory', 101 to 200 as 'moderate', 201 to 300 as 'poor', 301 to 400 as 'very poor', and 401 to 500 as 'severe'.

The Air Quality Early Warning System suggests that while wind conditions may remain favorable for the next day, pollution levels could rise in two to three days due to unfavorable weather, with the AQI possibly reaching 400 by October 31.

On Saturday morning, the minimum temperature was 18.6 degrees Celsius, slightly above the seasonal average. The humidity level at 8:30 am was 68 percent, according to the India Meteorological Department, which forecasted mainly clear skies for the day, with a maximum temperature expected around 34 degrees Celsius.
