Other AAP leaders like Sanjay Singh and Manish Sisodia will also hold 280 rallies. AAP plans to organise 3,000 street plays too. Electioneering will begin from March 23.

“A rally will be organized in West Delhi Lok Sabha constituency on March 23 which also marks Shaheed Diwas. A road show from Dwarka More to Rajouri Garden will be organized. In the evening a public meeting of our national convener Arvind Kejriwal will be organized in Shakur Basti,” said Delhi convener Gopal Rai.

AAP will be contesting the polls on the slogan of ‘Poorna Rajya Banao Jhadu Ka Button Dabao’ and its leaders will be campaigning to convince voters for statehood and not to elect the PM. The leaders will try to convince the voters that Delhi will get full statehood if it votes for AAP on May 12.

AAP has divided its campaign into two phases: the first one will be from March 23 to April 7, and the second will be from April 8 to April 30. Kejriwal will address 35 public meetings in the first phase and an equal number in the second phase. Gopal Rai will address 30 public meetings, MP Sanjay Singh 26, and deputy CM Manish Sisodia will address 17 meetings in the first phase.

The party believes through street corner plays it can explain to the voters how the elected government of Delhi has been working facing several obstacles and without the power to transfer and post officers. The street corner plays will try to target the voters at the booth level.

In the entire campaign, the 66 MLAs of the party will be playing an important role, and in the four assembly constituencies where AAP does not have MLAs, the party will use its assembly presidents and other workers. For better campaign management, AAP has divided Delhi into 260 campaign zones. AAP workers will also be distributing copies of a letter written by Kejriwal to explain why Delhi needs full statehood.
