Actress Smita Jaykar delivers motivational session at literature festival held in Delhi

A two-day literature festival was held at the Kiran Nadar Museum in Saket recently which saw veteran actress and chief guest at the event, Smita Jaykar give a motivational session. The event was organized by Kalamanthan, an art platform and the tagline of the festival was ‘every change maker is an artist’, by co-founder Sarita Nirjhra.
“The program started with a short trip of nostalgia with the release of a short video sharing the journey of Kalamanthan as an art platform.The first panel consisted of Latika Wadhwa and Priya Jindal who are both ‘mompreneurs’ and have carved a niche for themselves. They had an extremely enriching session regarding rise and acceptance of women entrepreneurs in our society,” said Baasab "Taalib", creative director.

Fashion designer Anju gandhi along with Astha Sethi, a young fashion designer working on sustainable fashion were on the dais with social media influencers. The panel was moderated by the co-founder Sarita Nirjhra.
“The discussion touched upon changing norms of fashion, eternal sarees, fabrics and sustainable fashion,” said Jyotika Pruthi, festival director.
Various storytellers and poets from Delhi-NCR participated in the event.
