NEW DELHI: After a day marked by public show of differences within Aam Aadmi Party, Okhla MLA Amanatullah Khan emerged from Political Affairs Committee meeting late in night to say, "I have resigned from PAC but I stand by my words. Kumar Vishwas is working for BJP-RSS. Kejriwal will also realise it soon."

The PAC is chaired by AAP national convener Arvind Kejriwal.

Khan further added that he said before the PAC that he was embarrassed that the party had to face this situation because of his remarks but he was firm on what he had said. He also said that Kejriwal was upset and angry with him and Kumar Vishwas. Vishwas did not attend the PAC.

Khan had alleged that Kumar Vishwas was trying to "usurp" the AAP and that he harbours ambitions of leading the party.

According to Okhla MLA, Kumar Vishwas was conspiring to break the party and had asked some legislators to join the BJP with an offer of Rs 30 crore each.

Khan stood firm on his allegations made on Sunday when he spoke to TOI and challenged Delhi minister Kapil Mishra to prove his allegation that the Okhla MLA has been working against the party.
