The police said that the man, who has been arrested for kidnapping the boy, was his father''s tenant.

A police team, headed by inspector Ashok Tyagi, was sent to Choudhary''s hometown, Rohtas in Bihar.
The boy was rescued following a raid on Chaudhary''s house, said Hassan.
"He told us that he was planning to extort Rs 8 lakh from the boy''s family. He, however, failed to contact the boy''s family as their phone was out of order," added Hassan.
