44-year-old man held for sodomy

NEW DELHI: A 17-year-old boy was sodomised allegedly by his relative in south Delhi's Kotla Mubarakpur and the 44-year-old accused was apprehended, police said on Saturday.

"The accused's wife had informed us about the incident. She produced her husband and claimed that he committed sodomy with her sister's son," police said.

While the teenage victim was taken for a medical examination, a case under Sections 377 (unnatural offenses) and 506 (criminal intimidation) of the IPC and Section 6 of the Pocso Act was registered at Kotla Mubarakpur police station, police added.
