4 flyers held at Delhi airport with peacock feathers

NEW DELHI: Customs officials at Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport intercepted four Indian passengers departing for Bangkok and seized 1.5 lakh pieces of peacock tail feathers on Tuesday.

The customs official said these four passengers had checked-in at the airport and their luggage was loaded in the flight. "However, after we received precise information, a team of customs came in action and called back the bags. We found peacock feathers in them." the official added.
