NEW DELHI: Three garment traders from Karol Bagh have been arrested for robbing money exchangers to pay debt.
Police said one of the accused used to pose as an elderly businessman and lure the exchangers to their apartment by promising a handsome deal and rob them. Last week, the traders had thrashed and robbed a Pitampura-based money exchanger of Rs 6 lakh after luring him in the same process.

"A team led by inspector special staff Mukesh Antil and constable Ajay Rana was formed to track down the men," said Parmaditya, DCP central.
The accused have been identified as Neeraj Gupta, Uday Bhan and Vinay . Police said they targeted several exchange agents based in Connaught Place and Pitampura. One of the victims Ashu Mali approached police.
