₹1.9cr gold seized at IGI, 2 arrested

New Delhi: Customs officials seized more than 3 kg of gold worth Rs 1.9 crore from two foreign nationals at the Indira Gandhi International Airport.
On the basis of profiling, Delhi Customs Preventive officers booked a case of smuggling of gold by two Uzbek nationals.
The passengers arrived at the domestic terminal on Thursday by an Indigo flight from Lucknow to Delhi.
Customs officers intercepted the two passengers, searched their baggages and examined them to discover 27 gold bars. ANI
