16-yr-old raped by neighbour, 2 others

NEW DELHI: A 16-year-old girl, returning from her school in Chanakyapuri, was picked up by a neighbour and taken to a house in Mohammadpur village in south Delhi, where three men gangraped her for three hours. Police said the 23-year-old neighbour tricked the victim into going to his friend’s house and called the other two accused there.
Police have nabbed all three men.The girl is a Class X student of a reputed private school. The incident took place last Wednesday and police said the victim reported the rape to her parents two days later.
"The main accused, Mohitpal, had known the girl as they were neighbours in R K Puram. He asked her to come to his friend’s residence on Wednesday. He then called over his friends, Sharat Kumar (20) and Amit Yadav (27). The three then took turns to rape her," said DCP (south) H G S Dhaliwal.
He said a medical test has confirmed the rape and a case has been registered at the R K Puram police station.
